An inverse mission of specialized journalists visited Valencia to get to know the next edition of the most important trade fair of the wood sector in Spain - MADERALIA

The Confederation of the Spanish Woodworking Industry, CONFEMADERA, organized a visit for a group of foreign journalists to Valencia to publicise the 33rd International Suppliers Fair for the Wood and Furniture Industry, MADERALIA.

This mission of journalists, which took place from the 26th to 29th of June in Valencia, was part of the Export Plan that the Confederation develops annually with the sponsorship of ICEX. The guests were journalists who specialise in the field of wood products from Poland, Lithuania, Russia, India, Chile and Germany. The agenda for the trip included visits to companies representing the industry, following the journey from the initial processing to the finished products such as doors, decorative products, veneers and veneered boards. On Thursday 28 June, the journalists attended the official presentation of the show to the media, Spaniards and foreigners, and the business sector.

The presentation took place in the Hall Feria Valencia, where they had the opportunity to socialise with the chairman of MADERALIA, Francisco Perelló and the chairman of FIMMA, Jordi Teixidó. The director of both fairs, Miguel Bixquert, explained the main developments that exhibitors and visitors could see from 7th to 10th November, 2007 in Valencia.

MADERALIA Fair, the most representative fair for the wood sector, is the biggest showcase of our industry, which is why CONFEMADERA contributes to the Spanish Woodworking Industry in order for it to be more widely known and accessible to foreign markets.
